THE girls from Monster Munch cafe in Hoyland are limbering up for Race for Life.
Each of them has a special reason for taking part in the five kilometre run for Cancer Research UK on May 17 at Meadowhall.
Staff member Samantha Welch who has suffered from cancer herself said it was her daughter Holly's idea to do the race in honour of close family friend and neighbour Vonnie Langley. Vonnie was a pensioner from Fitzwilliam Street, Hoyland Common, who died from cancer last August.
The girls are having a Vonnie race T-shirt framed for Vonnie's husband, Albert.
