POLICE say an alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl in Barnsley town centre never took place.
The girl alleged the rape took place on Sunday June 7 in the underpass at the rear of the Alhambra shopping centre.
Police say a thorough investigation has been carried out and they have now concluded that no such offence took place.
