A DISABLED man is afraid to leave his own home after he was attacked on the doorstep.
Wheelchair-bound John Guest went outside to get a bit of fresh air last Sunday teatime when he was assaulted by a a passer-by.
John was sitting outside his specially adapted flat in Maltas Court, Worsbrough Dale, at around 6pm when a large man pushed past him and made his way into the premises.
John asked the man what he was doing and the intruder reacted by kicking him so hard it knocked him from his chair and onto the ground.
Police are investigating and studying CCTV footage.
