THE MANAGEMENT of one of Barnsley’s best loved institutions is in disarray after the departure of its chief executive and a number of staff.
Barnsley Hospice’s chief executive Matt Wright left unexpectedly after just two years in the job, and after he had been on sick for five months.
A business manager and three other retail managers have left or are expected to leave by the end of the month.
Mr Wright’s tenure saw a major staff shake-up and a number of redundancies after his appointment in December 2013.
