STEELWORK for a new temporary market in Barnsley town centre will come from a local firm.
Billington, which has its head office in Wombwell and also fabricates and welds steel at a factory there, will provide the podium structure for the May Day Green market.
The temporary structure will house traders while the Metropolitan Centre is refurbished, a key feature of the £50m Better Barnsley regeneration scheme.
