A GENUINE copy of the board game Monopoly has been made featuring streets and landmarks from Wombwell and the Valley.

Fiona Nayar, 19, of Ings Road, won a competition online to have a version of the game specially printed by the makers made up of locations she chose.

Fiona said: “I forgot all about it but I got an e-mail saying I had won and could make my own Monopoly. I had to pick what I wanted on the board and I chose Wombwell. It’s exactly the same as the old game, just Wombwell places instead.”

Last week Wombwell Community Partnership played their own version of Monopoly made from a kit. But the kit version is different from the original game, with fewer squares and slightly different rules.
