ROAD rage struck in the middle of a quiet village when a frustrated 4x4 driver used his car to ‘ram’ a pensioner in his little Kia out of the way.
Widower Harold Walton, 78, was left badly shaken by the frightening incident which caused damage to the front end of his Kia Picanto in Worsbrough Village a week last Sunday morning.
But his upset turned to anger this week when when he received a letter from police saying no action will be taken against the driver of the 4x4 - despite statements having been taken from witnesses.
“I’ll be writing to the chief constable of South Yorkshire,” said Harold, of Worsbrough Road, Birdwell.
