A COUPLE engaged for ten years who were due to get married this summer have called-off their wedding because of the stress of searching for their stolen dogs.
Jacqui Millson has been left distraught by the theft of Zala and Zeus on December 22. She has spent £1,000 printing and distributing leaflets, she’s spending every available minute messaging people and following up leads on the internet and has offered a £1,000 reward for their safe return - £500 for each dog.
But this weekend Jacqui and fiancŽ Steve Andrews took the drastic decision to cancel their wedding which they had booked last year for August 12 this year.
“One person said it was a bit over the top,” said Jacqui, 53, of Rockley View, Pilley.
“But it’s not like I’m saying I can’t get married if they’re not there or anything like that, it’s basically just because we haven’t got time.”
