BARNSLEY Karate Centre student Jake Li has won two national titles in the last fortnight.
He took under 13 gold at the EKF English Championships in Sheffield then the WKF British Championships in Edinburgh.
Jake competes in kata which is the non-contact version of the sport.
Other Barnsley clubs competing at the English Championships were PB Karate, Birdwell and Vision Kicks which is one of just a few para-only karate clubs in England.
It is run by mother and daughter Shoany and Steph Hudson.
They were both in the blind and visually impaired section final, where Shoany took gold and Steph a silver.
Kara Bond and Bobby Perry also won para kata gold.
John Tumman was officially awarded his eighth Dan for 53 years of service to the sport.
