STEPHEN Ashworth carried his bat with 215 not out in West Bretton’s home win over The Chronicles England in Division Two of the Barnsley Sunday League.
David Hoyle added an unbeaten 98 in Bretton’s 362 for two then the visitors were all out for 172 with Matthew Pinder taking four wickets. Ashworth hit 33 fours and six sixes.
Callum Bentley carried his bat with 120 not out in Worsbrough Bridge’s home win over Brodsworth Main.
Bentley hit 20 fours in Bridge’s 210 then Archie Wootton took four wickets as Brodsworth fell 57 runs short.
Monk Bretton chased 214 for a seven-wicket success at home to Cawthorne in Division Three West.
Billy Beachill took three wickets for the Monks then James Taylor (80) and Ben Davis (61) secured the win.
Jacob Harrison (50), Dan Walters (58) and Charlie Parkin (64) top-scored for Cawthorne before Nathan Barker took three wickets.
