WEST End star Emily-Mae Walker has released her debut EP - and she’s taken inspiration from Fleetwood Mac and Queen.
The 29-year-old from Staincross has made quite the name for herself in the musical theatre world.
She gained her first role as one of the three Dynamites in the national tour of Hairspray eight years ago.
Since then her other credits include Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors, Bulda in Frozen and Nikki Marron in The Bodyguard.
She’s performed with some of the biggest stars in the industry - Layton Williams, Vanessa Williams and Samantha Barks.
Emily is currently Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton on the West End - but she’s still managed to find time for her latest EP - Delusion Susan.
She says the three songs - ‘Man on the Train’, ‘Everyone’s Go To’ and ‘Let Me Be’ - are something she’s very proud of.
She told the Chronicle: “I’m so excited for my first ever music release.
“This has been equal parts terrifying and exhilarating.
“It’s one thing to go up on stage and perform something someone else has written but to actually create my own art feels very vulnerable.
“I hope this is the start of a new adventure for me and that people enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.”
