MARC Roberts is in a ‘really really good place’ after returning to training ahead of Saturday’s match at Bradford City.
Defender Roberts has been out since picking up an injury on the opening day of the season.
Head coach Conor Hourihane said: “He’s trained this week and he was involved in an in-house game we played during the break.
“It’s really pleasing.
“He’s been a miss.
“If we had had him in a couple of scenarios this season the result might have been different.”
Left-back Georgie Gent has been out with an Achilles issue since March.
Hourihane said: “Georgie has been training.
“He’s coming back from an Achilles injury which is one of most difficult to come back from in my opinion.
“He needs more time than Robbo.
“He’s on the grass and he’s getting his match fitness up.”
Winger Fabio Jalo is a long-term injury absence, having not played since April due to a knee issue.
Hourihane said: “Fabio is probably the only one not fit and available.
“He is still a little bit away and we’re probably looking into November before I have a clearer picture of when he might be back on the grass.”
Striker David McGoldrick was on the bench at Wycombe before the international break but did not come on due to a groin problem.
Hourihane confirmed that McGoldrick had recovered.
