TWO men attempted to rob a 38-year-old woman as she walked through Barnsley town centre.
Police say the woman was walking through the underpass at the Alhambra roundabout when two men two approached her.
It is believed that the men, who were wearing balaclavas, made gestures towards the woman while trying to grab her bag.
The men are described as being around 6ft tall, white, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.
Both were wearing balaclavas and one of the men is described as having a blonde tuft of hair sticking through the eyepiece.
