CUDWORTH is set to lose a building society after it was named on a closure list by the group which runs it.
Barnsley Building Society, on Barnsley Road, faces the chop as part of sweeping changes made by its owner, Yorkshire Building Society (YSB).
The plans are part of a significant investment programme to modernise presence, improve its digital service and offer members greater flexibility and choice in where they do business, according to YSB.
