A YOUNG mum was horrified when she had yoghurt thrown at her and was spat on while breast-feeding her baby.
Kerry-Anne West, 20, of Town Lands Close, fed seven-week-old Morgan-Lee at the bus stop on Wombwell High Street on Wednesday afternoon.
A group of men in their 20s or 30s had been making comments about her feeding the baby. Then one of them allegedly said ‘I’ve got something for you to eat you dirty cow’ and threw a yoghurt at her which coated her and narrowly missed the baby’s head.
As one woman comforted her, an older man in his 60s said he thought it was disgusting to feed a baby in public and spat on Mrs West’s foot.
She said: “The yoghurt was thrown hard enough to hurt me so if it hit my daughter’s head it could have killed her.”
